Google'a göre bu kitabın Türkçesi yok. Ben de olacağını düşünmedim zaten çünkü daha Kasım 2011'de çıktı kendisi. Umarım geç de olsa çıkar çünkü hayranlarının severek okuyacağını düşünüyorum.
Diane Keaton benim en sevdiğim oyunculardan biri. İzlediğim her filmini çok sevdim ve röportajlarından değerlendirdiğim kadarıyla kendi karakteri de hoşuma gidiyor. Komik, bazen çılgın bir kadın gibi. Aynı zamanda kıyafetlerine de bayılıyorum ve dolabını benimkine taşımak istiyorum. Sonuç olarak bu kitabını da çok sevdim.
Diane Keaton'ın annesi yaşamı boyunca 85 adet günlük doldurmuş. Keaton kitabında annesinin yazdıklarının üzerinden ilerleyerek hem annesin, hem de kendisini ve ailesinin diğer fertlerini anlatıyor. Klasik bir Amerikan ailesi olmaları beni hiç şaşırtmadı doğrusu. Okuyucuların yorumlarına bakılırsa Diane Keaton'ın kendine güveni olmayan biri olması hakkındaki görüşlerini zedelemiş. Ben nedenini anlamadım çünkü bence bu insan olduğunu gösteriyor. Güzelliğin sorguladığı kısımları mesela ben çok beğendim çünkü hangimiz aynaya bakıp 'Allahım çok çirkinim' diye krize girmiyoruz ki?

Diane Keaton is one of my favorite actresses of all time. I've loved every of hers that I've seen, and judging by the interviews and such of hers I've seen and read, I've always loved her funny, sometimes over-the-top character, and I love love love her fashion sense. No matter what some readers said, I loved this book too.
Keaton's mother kept 85 journals throughout her life. As Diane Keaton explores her journals, she also explores herself and the rest of her family. It wasn't such a surprise to find out they're just like any other family with all their problems and sorrows and happy moments together. I also wasn't surprised that she's insecure and self-conscious. I especially enjoyed the parts where she questions if she's "pretty enough" because this is something I'm sure everyone goes through.
She's an internationally famous, successful actress, but she's also just like any of us. And I loved how she reflected that onto the page. If you love Diane Keaton or celebrity bios in general, I think this is one you shouldn't miss.

Daha böyle bir odam yok tabii. Hatta şu anki durumumda biraz daha kitap alırsam yatak odam kitap odası olacak ve ben salonda yatmak zorunda kalacağım. Neyse... Konuya gelelim... Benim olmadığı için başkalarınınkilere bakıyor, iç çekerek yalanıyorum.
İlgimi çekmeyen bir sürü isim var foto analizde. Ancak çok sevdiğim Woody Allen ve Diane Keaton'ın kitap kurdu yanlarını gösteren çalışma odalarını görünce çok mutlu oldum. Paylaşıyorum...
