I read the Turkish translation of this book, and on the back, it had a Patti Smith quote, in which she says she hopes this book fills the readers with unexplainable joy. And that's exactly what Woolgathering does.
It includes stories from Smith's childhood, told in the poetic way that she's amazing at. It's a tiny book that contains a few photos taken mostly by the author herself. You'll get a glimpse into Patti Smith's childhood and in the end there will be a grin on your face.
